Latest evidence

The FIDE list of rated tournaments carries 6 Budapest sections of this series (the Terezvaros Rapid Open (7th and 9th editions) and the Terezvaros Open U1800 and U2400 sections of 2025 and 2026), on 4 distinct start dates between 12 October 2024 and 12 September 2026. The latest listed start date is 12 September 2026. The list prints the city as Budapest; it gives no organiser or venue for the series. The Hungarian Chess Federation's calendar entry of 26 May 2026 names the organiser (Sirály Életmód SE), the venue (Eötvös 10 Művelődési Ház, Eötvös utca 10, VI. kerület) and the main sponsor (the Terézváros municipality) of the 2026 edition of 12 and 13 September.
