Add a club or tournament, or correct an entry

This form is for a chess club, a chess school, a regular chess evening or a recurring tournament in Budapest or its Pest county agglomeration that the directory does not list yet, and for an entry that is wrong or out of date. Players, parents, coaches, club officials and venue staff are all welcome to write.

What helps most is a link: the club’s own page, a federation list or calendar entry, or a dated post. Messages are read together at the next revision and compared with that page, and every resulting change is dated in the update record.

What is your message about?
For a new place: what chess happens there and when. For a mistake: which part of the entry is wrong.
Paste the link of a page, list, calendar entry or post that shows it.
Used only to know who wrote; Budapest Chess never prints it.
A phone number or messenger account, if you prefer not to give an email address.

Leave at least one contact. Nobody else sees it; it is used only for questions about your message.

How the contents of this form are handled is described in the privacy and data statement.

What happens next

  • Messages are collected until the next revision of the directory and then read together.
  • Each one is compared with the club’s, school’s or organiser’s own pages; where they confirm it, the entry is updated and the change is dated in the update record.
  • Where no page supports a message, the entry stays as it is, including any unconfirmed wording it already carries.
  • You hear back only when your message asks for an answer and gives a contact.
